Saijo City General Gymnasium

Saijo City General Gymnasium in Hiuchi, Saijo. The arena is large enough for 3 volleyball courts, 2 basketball courts, 12 badminton courts, 1 handball court or 24 table tennis tables, and is run by a designated manager. There is a training room equipped with machines such as a butterfly machine, barbells and dumbbells and exercise bikes, a 1st martial arts room used for kendo and similar sports, a 2nd martial arts room for judo and karate, a Japanese archery range with 5 shooting positions at the near target, and a large meeting room that doubles as a table tennis room. Applications to use the facility are accepted at the general gymnasium from the 1st of the month before the date of use. An additional fee applies if heating or air conditioning is used.
