Kunihito Memorial Yakuwa Table Tennis Dojo opened in 2008. The 'Kunihito' in its name comes from Kunihito Tase, a former All Japan champion who was a student of the dojo's head, Hideharu Yakuwa. It carries the wish that the dojo will raise players who, like him, are honest and cheerful and who are trusted and liked by those around them.
The dojo is used by people of a wide range of ages, from kindergarten children to grandmothers and grandfathers.
For children we aim to be a place where they can hold big dreams and grow through their relationships with others; for adults, a place for building health while getting to know one another.

Monthly fee (standard ball): junior/senior high 4,000 yen (up to 4 sessions/month) to 10,000 yen (16+ sessions/month); 3rd grade and below 3,000-7,000 yen
Winter (Dec-Mar) heating surcharge: 500-2,000 yen/month
Non-member drop-in: 1,000 yen/hour (elementary and younger), 1,500 yen/hour (junior high and older)
Table rental: 250 yen per person per hour (+50 yen in winter)

Facility management is solid and necessary supplies are carefully kept so there is a sense of confidence. A staff member who is well-versed in table tennis will give you multilingual advice and will lead to skill improvement. The friendship between players is also active in a homely atmosphere.
