      I tried an extra-thin sponge on my backhand to see what effect it would have. Chops are naturally easy to cut, and
      it's easy to keep the ball in the opponent's court, but the real standout is the attacking power.
      Counter-attacking out of a chop is really easy to do. Even with the extra-thin sponge, when I'm far from the table, my counter-attack shot
      doesn't break down and drives hard into the opponent's court.
      Forehand topspin drives also work fine for topspin rallies with Rozena on it. Because the blade is thin and the surface ply is a somewhat hard heat-treated wood,
      it seems to get plenty of spin—I can bend the ball on purpose, and if I get a clean stroke through the ball, it seems to lose spin oddly after the bounce and skid through, so
      I can also hit knuckle-ball drives. This decay effect might be the power of the absorber layer. Flicks and pushes over the table are also a lot of fun with it.
