Hinoki is harsh on Kevlar carbon...
However, the saving grace is that it is an inner rather than an outer. Although cypress has a strong repulsive force, it is made of a soft material and is an inner type, so the ball retention is not bad. Compared to the Inner Force Layer ALC and ZLC, it is a racket that holds the ball a little worse and has more bounce and speed.
