Being a 7-ply blade, you might expect it to be all about bounce, but it actually excels at control, and receive in particular was very stable.
I used 51-degree rubber and never once felt unsure about it.
When you swing through, you can really feel the power a 7-ply blade puts out.
If you're looking to step up, I'd recommend the Tetsuo Guardian over the Celero Wood.
It's more tame than the Celero Wood, and control is better with this one.
I'd also recommend it to anyone wanting to try a 7-ply blade for the first time.
