I kept hearing that it doesn't fly, doesn't fly… but I'm using Evolution MXP at max thickness on both sides, and it grips the ball and sends it out, so it actually gets decent distance

The short game - stop, chiquita, flick - all of it is easy to do

The drive really sinks into the rubber, so it gives you a great sense of security too.
The second-gear acceleration after it bounces on the table is amazing.
Blocks also stay put firmly, letting you back your opponent into a corner while mixing up pace.

True to being a poly-ball-compatible 5-ply blade, the feel is soft but it still flies reasonably well. I think it's a good blade for learning how to put spin on the ball. If you're around middle-school level, this is more than enough!

This blade is built for defense - grinding it out all-round like Samsonov, pushing your opponent around with blocks up close, and then throwing in a sharp counter attack! It's a great pick for anyone aiming for that kind of play!
