Overall, it's a well-balanced blade. (Uses straight-grain wood) I think the balance is good.

Hoshiko Fell in love with it

      Player reviews

      I'm using the 9mm square-shaped one!
      It's beautiful.
I'm particular about not liking too much printing on the blade, and this one was exactly what I was looking for.
      The performance is good too.
Honestly, there's nothing about it I dislike so far.
Backhand drives, backhand smashes, blocks, forehand shots, drives, pushes…
it handles everything without a hitch. Good balance, good performance!
It might depend on the rubber too, but you can really get spin on the ball! Though when you meet the ball flat, it just bounces off cleanly without grabbing.
At 9mm, this could be great as your first single-ply blade, or even as a second racket

Teenagers (Experience: 6〜10 years) A classic single-ply penhold blade (using 9mm)

      Player reviews

Before buying this, I was using a plywood penhold blade, so this review is a pure evaluation of the blade itself rather than a comparison with other single-ply blades.
It flies well but still holds the ball nicely, so it's easy to control
It doesn't vibrate in my hand as much as the plywood penhold did, so I couldn't really tell if spin was being applied, but the person receiving my shots said my drives felt heavier than with the plywood blade, so it does put spin on the ball!
The blade itself isn't heavy for a penhold either
The overall performance is good, so there's nothing in particular that's hard to do or any rubber that doesn't match with it
