With our TIMBER Line, we rely on the pure performance of natural wood and veneer structures. In the layer structure we differentiate in 5 or 7 layers. With TIMBER 5 the ideal entry into the competition area is possible, with moderate speed but high control rates and thanks to maximum ball feeling. TIMBER 7 blades are standing for more hardness and should be understood as the suitable alternative for variable topspin players who prefer to hit the ball with a pure wood racket.

Pen grain del norte (Experience: 6〜10 years) For long-pips beginners
-
2018/04/03
This review assumes Chinese-penhold long pips use.
First off, since the blade is 5mm thick or less, it really doesn't send the ball far. For attacking techniques, don't expect to punch through the ball — just accept that it's more about placement or throwing off your opponent's timing.
That said, because it doesn't fly far, the control is excellent, making it perfect for someone picking up long pips for the first time to learn techniques like blocks, pushes, and sliding shots.
As for matching rubbers, I think a sponge-backed long pips is the way to go. With an OX (sheet) rubber, the ball often won't even clear the net. For inverted rubber, a spin-oriented tension rubber with good control would work well. Pairing this control-focused blade with an extreme, tacky rubber will just make it harder to use.
It has just the right amount of performance for learning the feel of gripping the ball and how to use long pips, and its reasonable price is one of its appeals.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft

Beginner (Experience: Less than a year) Doesn't bounce much

I'm a beginner and I've been using this for about a year. My impression is that it doesn't bounce all that much, and sometimes my drives land in the net.
Pushes are pretty easy to do though. (Just my personal impression)
I have long pips on the backhand, and when blocking it's easy to keep the ball on the table
Might suit long pips users or choppers...?Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft
