SIMA 1st KOUKI (Experience: Less than a year) A bouncy soft-tension rubber with a good balance of speed and spin

      Reviews by user

My older brother used this rubber during his last year of junior high. His blade was a Holy Crown. It's a soft, bouncy rubber that both my brother and I really love.
This rubber is similar to the V15 Limber and V01 Limber. The difference is that the sponge is a bit harder, so you get some grip from the topsheet too. That makes both types of topspin drives easier to hit than with other rubbers. The drive has a great balance of speed and spin, with excellent power. You can smash without being thrown off by incoming spin. It's also fine for the short game and serving. But this rubber's biggest strength is how well it holds up in mid-distance rallies — you won't get overpowered, and you can hit powerful shots. It also has good carry, so you don't need to worry even when you brush the ball. The downside is that the ball sinks in but flies off right away, so you need a decent swing speed to use it well.
If you like soft rubbers, are confident in your power, or like to give the ball a quick flick and smack it, try this one or the MAXP.

Honestly, I can't shake the feeling of "well, for the price..." with this one. I wouldn't say it's great value for money, but it is soft and quite easy to use, so it's well suited as a backhand rubber for beginner-to-intermediate players!
