The feel that resonates through your hand when you hit is fun. But there's something a bit lacking about it.

My first impression was that the feel on contact really felt like long pips, and it felt pretty good to hit with. Performance-wise, it grips the ball well, so long-pips techniques are pretty easy to keep stable. Not sure if it's because the pips run vertically, but meet-hitting is also fairly easy to pull off for a long-pips rubber. This rubber is reliable enough that anyone complaining it's not stable probably just needs to work on their own skill. On top of that, chop-blocks and pushes bite really well. With pushes, you can cut them sharp when you want to, and it also lets you add variation when you want that. Chop-blocks really bite, lol. Just that performance alone would satisfy me, but on top of that it also gives you plenty of variation, so you can produce some seriously nasty balls. Penhold long-pips players and shakehand backhand long-pips players should all try this at least once.
