I'd recommend this for a more technical style of play.
The bounce sits somewhere between a control rubber and Sriver.

Among control-oriented rubbers, this is definitely one that's easy to attack with, but it doesn't measure up to modern tension rubbers, or even high-bounce rubbers for that matter. That said, if you're a beginner trying to decide on your second rubber, this might be a good option!

This Safira was the rubber I switched to after starting table tennis and getting the basics down to some extent.
At the time, its control performance was outstanding - I played single-sided penhold and could still attack reasonably well, so I'd recommend it as a rubber for beginners to learn the fundamentals, for people just starting table tennis!

I bought this rubber right around when I first started playing table tennis. It leaned a little toward attacking in balance, but it was still very easy to use. It's not a tension type or a tacky type, so in my case I ran the red side with just this one sheet for almost a year and a half. By the way, my daily practice time was about what's typical for a junior high school team.

Since it has a bit of an attacking edge, I think it's great not only for players who've built up solid control and started feeling like something's missing, but also for people who want to go back to basics, or for learning penhold backhand technique - I'd recommend using thick or above!!

The ease of control is wonderful.
