First off, the strong point of this rubber is its consistency — not just for soft and hard hitting shots, but also for spin-based techniques like topspin drives and pushes, it holds up really steadily. It bounces well too, so you can handle rallies with a meet-hit style all the way to mid-distance. Serves also grip well — maybe because it's a horizontal-pip rubber, you can get about as much variation as with inverted rubber, plus decent ball speed, so it's pretty easy to produce serves that feel true to short pips. Next, about knuckle balls — I can control whether or not I produce one on purpose, and switching between the two is easy to do. Just keep in mind that since it's basically horizontal pips, it won't naturally produce knuckle balls on its own. Third, ball control — even though it's a fairly hard tension rubber, you can freely vary length and power, which honestly surprised me a bit. On the downside, it doesn't stand out especially in speed or spin, so among short pips rubbers it's pretty middle-of-the-road. If all you want is consistency, this works, but if you're after flashy winners or spin and variation that throws your opponent off, it might feel lacking. For players who've played short pips for years and want more consistency than vertical-pip rubbers but more aggression than horizontal-pip ones, I'd recommend this. To sum it all up after this long review, it's an all-around style short pips rubber. Hope this helps anyone considering it.
