They call it a tacky tension rubber, but I honestly can't tell where the tension part comes in. Sure, serves and pushes are easy and it grips for spin, but drives and smashes are way too hard to pull off. Basically impossible!
It's a fantastic rubber in terms of the spin it generates, but I think calling this tacky rubber a "tension" rubber is a stretch.Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Soft

It's on the firm side, but I'd still call it soft. Because of that, it's a bit hard to hit from mid-distance to away from the table. It's more of a close-to-the-table drive type rubber. The more properly you swing through, the more spin you get, so I think it's good for the forehand. For the backhand, you want a rubber that can really be swung through on the forehand. Defensive rubbers like anti-spin shouldn't be put on the backhand.
