  This rubber excels at control and spin, but honestly it doesn't have much bounce and the speed is nothing special either.
  But that's exactly why blocks land cleanly on the table and you get fewer overshooting pushes.
  In other words, it lets you play a low-error style of table tennis.
  I said it doesn't bounce much, but if you swing through properly you still get a baseline amount of speed, so as long as you attack the right courses you'll be fine.
  The spin is quite strong, so your serve becomes a real weapon.

  Of course, ideally you'd improve, use a bouncy tension rubber, keep your short game stable, and take points by attacking on your own initiative.
  But if too much bounce makes your short game unstable and lets your opponent take the initiative, or you're overshooting a lot of drives and smashes, winning matches gets tough.

  This assumes you're playing close to the table, but even though this rubber's overall stats fall short of a tension rubber, I think it's an easy rubber to win matches with.

  Especially recommended for beginner-to-intermediate players still building their skills, and for the backhand of penhold pips players.

  このラバーはコントロールと回転性能にすぐれていますが、そんなに弾まないしスピードも正直微妙です。
  しかし、だからこそブロックがしっかり台に収まってくれたり、ツッツキのオーバーミスが少ないです。
  つまり、ミスの少ない卓球をすることができます。
  弾まないとは書きましたが、しっかり弾けば最低限はスピードがでるので、コースをついて攻めれば問題はありません。
  回転はかなりかかるので、サーブは武器になります。

  もちろん上達して、弾むテンションラバーを使って台上技術を安定させて、自分から攻めて点を取るのが理想です。
  しかし、弾みすぎるあまり台上が安定しないで先手を取られてしまっていたり、ドライブやスマッシュのオーバーミスが多いならば試合です勝つのは厳しいところがあります。

  前陣で使うことが前提についてなりますが、このラバーは総合値はテンションラバーに負けていても、試合で勝ちやすいラバーだと思います。

  技術習得中の初中級者の方や、ペン粒の裏面に特にオススメです。

  I've been playing penhold with pips for about 5 years.
  It's been about half a year since I switched over from Glaze OX.

  My impression is that it's somewhere between the Curl P3 and P1.

  When you stop the ball it stops firmly, and for long pips the shot form stays pretty stable.

  The sharpness of chop-blocks is also top notch.

  Pushes are slower than with Glaze, but I think for a one-ply pips rubber this is about right for pushing.

  The variation is a bit so-so.
  There are moments where the change from group play is especially strong, but it can get tough if it turns into a game of just touching the ball without varying anything.
  That said, I personally find it easy to vary between knuckle blocks and chop blocks, so if you want to use differences in spin amount rather than wobbly variation, I'd recommend it.

  Other than that, I personally feel that snappy forehand hitting is easy to do with this.
  Also, the grip on the ball feels good for a pips rubber.

  Overall, I'd call it an upgrade over the P3.
  Recommended for anyone who wants an all-round game with no weak points in any technique, and for penhold pips players who like to take the initiative themselves.

  ペン粒歴5年くらいです。
  グラスoxから乗り換えて半年くらいです。

  印象としてはカールp3とp1の間ってかんじです。

  止めればしっかり止まるし、粒にしてはフォームも安定してくれる。

  カットブロックの切れ味も申し分ないです。

  プッシュはグラスに比べたら遅いですが、粒一枚ならプッシュだと思います。

  変化はちょっと微妙ですね。
  グループの変換が特に強かったところはありますが、当ててただ変えずだけの卓球になってしまうと厳しいところがあります。
  しかし、ブロックでナックルブロックかカットブロックかでの変化は個人的につけやすいので、揺れるような変化じゃなくて回転量の差をつかうならばオススメです。

  他に個人的には、弾くようなフォア打ちがやりやすい風に感じます。
  また、引っ掛かりも粒にしては良いとかんじます。

  総合評価としましては、p3の上位交換かなってかんじです。
  全ての技術に穴がなくオールラウンドな卓球をしたい人、自分からしかけたいペン粒にオススメです。
