I bought this as a backup for my discontinued Euro Chopper. The blade is a bit smaller on the grip side, and the grip itself is a bit longer and bigger — with this blade, the stability on chops is wonderful, and it's a great blade for playing the old-school, defense-first style.
It sounds like once they run out of the veneer, they won't be able to make it anymore, and there aren't many large-blade rackets out there, so for players who defend with chops, I don't think you'd go wrong picking one up sooner rather than later.
