I've always disliked the feel of carbon, so I stuck to 7-ply wood blades and avoided special materials, but I wanted more speed so I tried this blade, and it turned out great!
I even disliked special materials in inner-carbon blades and preferred wood, but this blade satisfies me in every way — speed, feel, ball-holding, weight, all of it.
It costs more than other blades, so I was hesitant to buy it, but I wish I'd bought it sooner.
