  It's a versatile, all-around rubber — easy to put spin on and your topspin drives land consistently. It has that distinctive soft-rubber feel that's kind of addictive. It doesn't have much power, but I think it's a great rubber for learning the fundamentals. I think it's the perfect first step up from a high-tension (spring sponge) rubber. It also lasts a really long time and is inexpensive, so it's great value for money too.

  回転がかけやすく、ドライブが安定して入るオールマイティーなラバーです。柔らかいラバー特有の打球感がクセになります。威力とかはないですが、基本的な技術を覚えるのに良いラバーだと思います。高弾性ラバーからの最初のステップアップに最適なラバーだと思います。寿命も非常に長く値段も安いのでコスパも良しです。

  V>20 Double Extra

  

  At 52.5 degrees hardness it's rated as quite a hard rubber, but it doesn't feel that hard. It's quite easy to generate spin, and if you swing through it properly you can produce powerful shots. Even swinging with a lot of commitment, the ball still draws a good arc and lands on the table easily. Being hard, it's fairly heavy, but I think any male player from high school age up could swing it without trouble. Its lifespan was about 3 months with practice once or twice a week. After that, the sheet gets slippery, spin becomes harder to generate, and the arc starts to flatten out. It's an all-around rubber good for spin techniques and power, but as a beginner like me, I couldn't fully make use of it — pushes tended to float up, and I couldn't cut serves sharply enough. For intermediate players and above, it's quite a bit cheaper than Tenergy, and VICTAS has frequent sales too, so I think it's worth trying.

  硬度52.5度とかなり硬めのラバーですが、それほど硬さは感じません。回転はかなりかけやすく、しっかりと振れば威力の高い球を出せます。かなり思い切って振っても、しっかりと弧線を描いて飛ぶので台に収まりやすいです。硬い分重さはそこそこありますが、高校生以上の男性であれば難なく振れると思います。寿命は週に1、2回の練習で3ヶ月ほどでした。それを過ぎるとシートが滑りやすく、回転をかけにくくなって、弧線を描かなくなってきます。回転系の技術や威力など、オールマイティーなラバーですが、私のような初級者だとツッツキなどが浮いたり、サーブをしっかりきれないなど、使いこなすことはできないと思います。中級者以上のプレイヤーには、テナジーに比べてかなり安く、しかもVICTASはセールが多いので試してみる価値はあると思います。

• SUPER VENTUS

  

  I use it on my backhand. It's a bit on the softer side and the ball sinks in well, so things like loop drives are easy to do. Drives over the table also produce a nice arc, so they land well. Pushes and stops can be held firmly in place, which is reassuring. I currently use it on backhand, but I think beginners like myself would also find it easy to use on forehand, since it lets you get both power and consistency. VICTAS runs sales often, so it's worth trying then.

  バック面に使用。少し柔らかめで食い込みがいいので、ループドライブなどがやりやすいです。台上でのドライブも弧線を描いてくれるので入りやすいです。ツッツキやストップはしっかりと止められるので安心できます。今はバックで使っていますが、私のような初級者は、フォアに貼っても威力と安定を両立させられるので使いやすいと思います。VICTASはよくセールをやっているのでその機会に試してみるといいと思います。

  Vega Asia DF

  

  Used it on my backhand. It's soft so the ball sinks into the sponge nicely, and thanks to Dynamic Friction it has strong grip so it's easy to put spin on the ball. It's called Vega Asia DF, but the feel is actually closer to Vega Europe, which has the same hardness, rather than to Vega Asia itself. I used it on the backhand, but because the grip is strong and the ball stays on the rubber a bit longer, players who like harder rubbers might find it harder to control. It draws a nice arc, so even shots hit a bit too hard tend to land on the table. Topspin drives are easy to hit, but they tend to land shallow. If you like soft rubbers, it might be worth trying on the forehand too.

  バック面に使用。柔らかいので食い込みがよく、ダイナミックフリクションで強いグリップ力があるので回転はかけやすいです。ヴェガアジアdfという名前ですが、ヴェガアジアよりも硬度が同じヴェガヨーロッパに近い打球感です。バックで使用していましたが、グリップが強く球離れが遅いので、硬いラバーが好きな人はコントロールがしにくいかもしれません。弧線を描くので少し無理して打っても台に収まります。ドライブはしやすいですが浅く入ります。柔らかいラバーが好きな人はフォアに使うのもいいかもしれません。

• Ventus Basic

  

  I used the one that came pre-attached to a beginner racket. The control is good, and it has that satisfying feel you get from a soft rubber when hitting a topspin drive. It doesn't have any particularly standout traits, but I think it's a beginner-friendly rubber that can handle anything reasonably well. It's also very cheap, so I think it's perfect as a first rubber for someone just starting out in table tennis.

  初心者用ラケットに貼ってあったものを使用。コントロールがよく、柔らかいラバー特有のドライブを打った時の気持ちよさがいいです。特に目立った特徴はありませんが、なんでもこなせる初心者向けラバーだと思います。値段も非常に安いので、卓球をこれから始める人が最初の一枚として使うのに最適だと思います。
