    I got back into table tennis after decades away, chasing the feel of Sriver with three coats of speed glue.
    I tried all sorts of rubbers that would suit an outer, special-material bouncy blade, including Tenergy, Dignics 05, and 09c, and this rubber reproduced that feel the most closely.
    In particular, when hitting a chopper from about net height with a full-power impact, this rubber lands in more reliably than 09c, while still being faster than 05. And best of all, the metallic sound on contact feels great.
    Serves grab spin even with a light cut, and you can push through knuckle drives and place them right where you're aiming.
    Loop drives also go in consistently, so if you're losing to players at the same level, I think it comes down to a lack of skill in receiving and the short game, or just being outsmarted.
    That said, in a large, cold gym, it can feel harder and a bit less easy to use.
    So on cold days, I think warming it up with a rubber warmer or something helps it play without that awkward feeling.
    The feel changes quite a bit between a warm indoor space and a cold gym, so it's probably worth factoring in the effect of the environment.
    As for durability, 09c lasted relatively longer, but how long this rubber holds up will depend on how you use it going forward.
