It's definitely designed for offense! It's incredibly fast and generates plenty of spin. Because it contains carbon, it's very bouncy, so you need to be a little careful. I think it pairs well with softer rubbers like Dignics or Tenergy. Personally, I think the thicker version is the best fit.
You'll probably make a lot of over-the-table errors at first, but you'll get used to it as you use it. I'm using the ST type, and it's very easy to grip. And most importantly, the Fan Chendong logo looks cool—that's the important thing, right? (laughs) I think it's suitable for beginners to advanced players! Give it a try!
