Handa Municipal Gymnasium is part of the Regional Culture Plaza, developed in 1985 together with the Handa Sky Science Museum. Adjoining the Handa City Library, the Handa City Museum and Ninbozan Park (formerly Hananoki Square), it serves as a base for nurturing the dreams and creativity of young people and as a center for sports and recreation, a place where everyone from children to elderly people can relax, play and learn. Inside, the 1st floor has a table tennis room, a gymnasium room and meeting rooms, the 2nd floor has the arena, and the 3rd floor has arena spectator seating; a dedicated table tennis room is one of its features. Opening hours are 9:00 to 21:30 (also until 21:30 when events are held), and parking is provided.
