: Kutsurogi-juku Shintaki is a ryokan beside the river in the center of Higashiyama Onsen, Aizuwakamatsu, about a 3-minute walk from the Higashiyama Onsen Eki bus stop. It has four free-flowing hot-spring baths, including a rock bath once used by the lords of the Aizu domain. A table tennis room at the back of the first-floor lobby is lent free in 30-minute slots, with rackets and balls provided; guests book by writing on the whiteboard at the entrance.

Access: From Aizuwakamatsu Station on the JR Ban'etsu West Line, take the Aizu Bus bound for Higashiyama Onsen for about 20 min, get off at Higashiyama Onsen, then about 3 min walk
