"Ping Pong Minato" goes back a long way, founded in 2002 as a club open to anyone, from general players to junior players such as junior high school students.

Within that, we began serious coaching of juniors around 2013 and produced many of Miyazaki Prefecture's top players, achieving real results. That gave us the confidence that we could also coach working adults and seniors. When we opened the table tennis hall, we named the junior side (preschoolers, elementary and junior high school students) "Ping Pong Minato Junior" and the general side (high school students, working adults and seniors) "PPM Table Tennis Hall", and we enter tournaments under those names.

Now that we have our own facility, this is a club that will grow further from here.

We want to develop our juniors (preschoolers, elementary and junior high school students) more and more.

General members (high school students, working adults and seniors) vary in age, lifestyle and much else, so rather than sticking to a fixed approach we adapt flexibly and coach so that each person can get stronger in the way that suits them.

Alongside Director Hosokawa, coaching is handled by Coach Koto, Coach Kuramoto and Coach Kodama, three graduates of Miyazaki Commercial High School, together with Coach Kitano.

We work to increase the number of people who love table tennis!!
At our hall we coach carefully, starting from complete beginners.

There is a shop inside, so feel free to consult us about equipment as well.

We stock table tennis equipment from Nittaku and other table tennis manufacturers.

We offer a 20% discount.

Items not in stock can be ordered.

We handle everything from socks to table tennis tables and floor mats.

We keep around 20 rackets available for test play.

Try them out and choose the racket and rubber that suit you. Rubber re-gluing is free of charge.

PPM Table Tennis Hall's director Kazutoshi Hosokawa and Coach Koto Hosokawa

are contracted coaches for the German table tennis equipment maker "andro", so we carry a particularly wide range of andro products.

Opening hours: Elementary school class: Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri 17:30-19:30 (Tue 19:00-21:00), every other Sat 14:00-17:00. Junior high school class: Mon, Wed, Thu 19:30-21:30 (Tue 19:00-21:00), every other Sat 14:00-17:00. High school class: Tue 19:30-21:30, every other Sat 14:00-17:00. Ladies' class: Mon, Tue, Thu 10:00-15:00 (varies by day and time slot).

[Junior high school class] Admission fee 4,000 yen; monthly fee: once a week 4,500 yen, twice a week 8,000 yen, three times a week 12,000 yen, four times a week 16,000 yen. [High school class] Admission fee 4,000 yen; monthly fee from 4,500 yen. [Ladies'/seniors' class] Admission fee 4,000 yen; monthly fee: once a week 4,000 yen, twice a week 7,600 yen. Jimmy (Table tennis experience: 2-3 years) It ’s a very fulfilling club.

My wife in her 70s (3 years of table tennis experience) attends. There are two dedicated coaches for Andro, a specialist for grain height, and a specialist for table software, and the coaching team is very substantial. Many of the coaches and students are relatively young, so my wife is very happy to be able to practice laughing and cheering constantly and happily at the table tennis court.

70代の妻（卓球歴3年）が通っています。アンドロの専属コーチが2名、粒高のスペシャリスト、表ソフトのスペシャリストと、非常にコーチ陣が充実しています。コーチ陣や生徒が比較的若い方が多いので、卓球場は笑いや歓声が絶えず楽しく練習が出来ると、妻は大変満足げです。

Match points Excellent leadership that leads you from basic technology to technology that can win the game

There are various motives for playing table tennis.
"If you enjoy exercising, that's fine" but "yes".
You can learn the techniques to enjoy.
However, when you can do various things, you will have the pleasure of doing something like a match and winning.
At that time, I realized that I was naturally learning the technology to deal with it.
When practicing footwork, you will learn a technique called "wrap around and fore".
I did it without knowing when to use it.
Later, I will learn this.
"If you put out such a serve on the back side of the opponent, 80% of the balls will be returned to the back. So be prepared to go around when you put out the serve ... etc." The joy of using "Fore" and succeeding was great.
Know that you were ready to fight nature.
It is such a table tennis field.

卓球をやる動機はさまざまです。
「運動になって楽しければそれでいい」でも「有り」です。
楽しむための技術を教わることができます。
しかしいろいろなことができるようになると、試合のようなことをして勝つ楽しみも出てきます。
そんな時それに対応できるような技術を自然と学んでいたことに気が付きます。
フットワークの練習の時、「回り込んでフォア」という技術を学びます。
どんな時に使うのか知らずにやっていました。
のちのちこんなことを学びます。
「このようなサーブを相手のバック側に出したら、8割がたバックに球が返ってくる。だからサーブを出すときにもう回り込む準備をしておく。。。等々」初めてその「回り込んでフォア」を使えて成功した時の喜びは大きかったです。
自然と戦うための準備ができていたことを知ります。
そんな卓球場です。
