A municipal gymnasium in Oaza Beppu, Beppu, Oita Prefecture. The arena is large enough for 2 volleyball courts, 6 badminton courts or 16 table tennis tables, and the building has showers as well as a meeting room, a judo hall and a kendo hall (please inquire separately about the meeting room, judo hall and kendo hall). The arena has no heating or air conditioning. Opening hours are 9:00-22:00, and it is closed on Mondays and over the New Year period, with Monday 9:00-12:00 set aside for cleaning. Reservations and inquiries are accepted by phone and through the Oita public facility information and reservation system. It is a 15-minute walk from JR Beppu Station, or about a 3-minute walk from the "Beacon Plaza-mae" bus stop.
