A prefectural general gymnasium in Oita, nicknamed "Cycle Shop Kodama Ozu Arena." The main arena has a competition floor area of 1,680 sqm (48 m x 35 m) and a ceiling height of 13.8 m, accommodating official competition in 3 volleyball courts, 2 basketball courts, 8 badminton courts, 2 tennis courts, 12 table tennis tables, 8 fencing pistes, 4 judo areas, and 2 areas each for wrestling, boxing and weightlifting. Seating includes 1,334 fixed seats on the third floor plus 754 rollback seats. The building is heated and air-conditioned, with an average illuminance of 1,500 lux. There is also a sub-arena (774 sqm), judo and kendo halls (522 sqm each), a training room, a bouldering area, and meeting and seminar rooms. Reservations are made through the Oita public facility information and reservation system or at the reception desk.
