Hirata Gymnasium

Hirata Gymnasium in Izumo, Shimane Prefecture. The competition floor measures 34.50 m x 39.30 m (1,355.80 sqm), with 440 fixed seats and 2,000 additional seats. It can be used for basketball, volleyball, table tennis, sponge tennis, badminton and other sports, and can fit 2 regulation-size basketball courts. It has also been used as a venue for National Sports Festival qualifiers (table tennis) and the Shimane Prefecture high school championships (table tennis). Same-day reservations are not accepted; applications must be made by the day before.
