: Itawari-no-Yu in Shimada, Shizuoka Prefecture, is a day-trip hot spring facility surrounded by rich nature. It uses the source water of the Tashiro-no-Sato hot spring, which is said to be good for the skin, in its indoor baths, while the open-air baths offer a variety of options such as a silk bath and an artificial carbonated spring. Private baths are also available for those who want to spend time in privacy. The in-house restaurant Kutsurogi serves seasonal dishes made with local ingredients. Come and spend a soothing time for body and mind at Itawari-no-Yu.

Access: [Car] Approx. 5 min from the Fujieda Bypass. Leave the Fujieda Bypass at the Noda Interchange and head toward Mt. Chibasan. Turn left at the Otsuyagawa River (a guide sign is posted) and go north for about 3 km; it is next to Shimada Yumemirai Park.
