Matsugaya Table Tennis Hall has six tables: three are barrier-free tables (suitable for wheelchair table tennis) and three are height-adjustable tables (suitable for "Bambi" preschoolers). For matches and events we may set out four tables instead, so that you can play with a wider playing area.

We also have supports for large-ball table tennis, plus two sets of dedicated supports used in table tennis therapy programmes such as table tennis volleyball.

In addition, we have laid competition mats used at the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games over a highly cushioned floor.

What is more, we have two table tennis robots.

They can be used for repetitive practice and mastery of the techniques worked on in personal practice or group lessons.

Of course the hall is fully air-conditioned so you can play in comfort.

With proper facilities, please enjoy your play with peace of mind. It is also ideal for improving your technique.

Beginners very welcome! Experienced players are of course fine too. Enjoy rallies while working off your lack of exercise.

Skill-up class
Intensive practice in a small group; improve quickly with a coach's guidance

Work in a balanced way on basics, individual challenges and match play, and aim for elegant play

Coaches and support staff instruct and assist

Capacity: 5 people (about 10 when two coaches are on duty)

Duration: 60 minutes (20 minutes if there is 1 participant, 40 minutes if there are 2)

Schedule: one hour within the 13:00-15:00 slot on weekdays (we will fit around your requests just after opening)

Fee: 1,500 yen per session (including tax, balls, table use and coaching)

Kids class / Junior class
From preschoolers to high school students, learn table tennis from the basics and improve while having fun!
Early lessons are possible, and it is fine to do your homework at the hall. Please tell us what your family needs

Kids class (preschoolers to 1st grade of elementary school)
Open to: preschoolers through 1st grade of elementary school; a guardian may join in for an extra 500 yen, so please improve together and enjoy it.

Schedule: weekdays 16:00-17:00 (closed Wednesdays)

* The kids class uses low "Bambi" tables
* Coaching time is adjusted according to the number of participants and the situation.
20 minutes for 1 person, 40 minutes for 2, 60 minutes for 3

* Early lessons before 16:00 are possible. Please ask us.

Junior class (elementary to high school students)

Lessons with Takumasa Arai
Lessons by Takumasa Arai, producer of Matsugaya Table Tennis Hall.

He can handle any request, from improving and countering unconventional rubbers such as long pips and reversing play, to chopping and hitting against chop, serve and receive, and more. He can also coach children, older people and wheelchair players.
