Kawai Sports is a sporting goods store founded in 1931 in Nanokamachi, Yamagata City. In addition to general sporting goods, it handles school-designated PE wear, installs playground and gym equipment, and lays gymnasium floors. In winter it also rents ski equipment at a lodge in Zao Onsen. The store is listed among Nittaku's retailers. It is about a 20-minute walk from Yamagata Station and has a parking lot.
