Kunihito Memorial Yakuwa Table Tennis Dojo opened in 2008. The 'Kunihito' in its name comes from Kunihito Tase, a former All Japan champion who was a student of the dojo's head, Hideharu Yakuwa. It carries the wish that the dojo will raise players who, like him, are honest and cheerful and who are trusted and liked by those around them.
The dojo is used by people of a wide range of ages, from kindergarten children to grandmothers and grandfathers.
For children we aim to be a place where they can hold big dreams and grow through their relationships with others; for adults, a place for building health while getting to know one another.
