I used this back when I was such a beginner that I called the rubber the "racket."
Being a leisure model, the performance is... well, kind of "meh," but I fought on with a workaround until I could buy a new blade.
That workaround was peeling off the rubber with a cutter (it's really hard to peel — the sponge separates badly from the top sheet) and reattaching it with rubber cement... it's really tricky, but in the end I put Rozena on it. (lol)
If you want to save money and have the courage for it, please try re-gluing the rubber and using it

Exactly as Butterfly describes it. Purely for casual/leisure play. The rubber's lifespan is so-so. It does have good consistency though.
