Depending on what you compare it to, this might actually grip the ball better than some inner blades. It's an outer blade, but the top ply is limba and the board is only 5.6mm thick, so the feel is quite soft. The feel and flight reminded me of Company B's Jun Mizutani ZLC. When I asked the manufacturer about the carbon, they said it's the same "FE carbon" used in Nittaku blades too. More than the special material, what stands out is the quality of the wood - you really feel it in your hand. It grabs the ball a ton but still sends it flying - a really well-balanced outer blade.
