Origin For those whose hinoki single-ply bounces too much

To keep the bounce of a single-ply hinoki (cypress) blade from being too much, they made it a plywood blade instead, which I think keeps the impact feel while adding more stability.

Butterfly has put out a lot of serious, high-level Japanese penhold blades. This racket is also quite serious and not suited for beginners, but it's a wonderful racket you can keep using for a long time!
