    Customer Reviews SummaryAI Summary
This hard rubber has a reputation for excellent speed performance and is well-suited for aggressive play in the front court. However, the low spin potential limits its application versatility.
    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • Superior speed with linear trajectories
    • Low spin generation resulting in lighter balls
    • Ideal for front-court attacks and smashes
    • Recommended as a second rubber rather than beginner choice
    • Hard sponge provides distinctive feel
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveThe speed is excellent for front-court play. Particularly recommended for forehand, with impressive drives and satisfying counter-smashes that land reliably.
▽ CriticalLack of spin makes it difficult to control the ball onto the table. There appears to be no compelling reason to choose this rubber over alternatives.

The sponge is hard. When you hit it hard it makes a really satisfying "pokon!" sound. The topsheet doesn't feel like it grips the ball all that much.

My backhand is stable, and my forehand smash is stable too.

When a chance ball comes, I just turn and smash it!

      It feels amazing!

Yutchi @ cut A fast rise

      Reviews by user

This Rise is fast. When you think of TSP tension rubbers, Rise and Ventus come to mind, and this is the standard one in that lineup! The speed on blocks is ridiculous, haha. If you like to win with pace, you should definitely give this a try!

With max thickness it flies like crazy, but once you get used to it, it's strong. Spin isn't very strong, on serves either.

This chan (Experience: Less than a year) It's got speed!

      Reviews by user

I use this on my forehand and it just flies! It's ideal for attack-focused players! That said, it's hard to put spin on. I think it suits players who prioritize attacking over spin.

      Co. Done (Experience: 2〜3 years)

      Reviews by user

I borrowed this from a junior teammate who had it paired with the TSP Kaisoku.
First off, it's fast. Even accounting for the blade's own performance, this is quite fast.
Counter-smashes come off satisfyingly fast, and they actually go in too.
The topspin drive is also considerable, but since the spin is weak the ball comes out a bit light.
      Blocking is relatively easy, but
with a blade that flies too much, you can end up overshooting in a straight line,
so counters turn out to be surprisingly more stable.
Serves have more bite than I expected, but since it flies a little, side-spin long serves or fast long serves seem effective.
Once you get used to it, you can also get the ball to come back short over the table.
Pushes and stop shots do tend to float up, though...
though I think you can compensate with things like flicks.
I think this suits an aggressive, close-to-the-table attacking player like Niwa, who initiates attacks and counters relentlessly.

Shimoheihei (Experience: Less than a year) No durability......

      Reviews by user

Maybe I just got a bad one... the bond between the sponge and the sheet was weak, and the edges of the sheet started peeling relatively quickly. I was using it with a Chinese penhold grip, and the spot where my index finger pressed against it was the first to come loose.
As for the performance of the rubber itself, I'd call it an ordinary high-elasticity rubber with decent speed. I used it for practice before moving on to tension rubbers.
