For technical style pros keen on balanced aggression.

Deeper and longer ball dragging at the surface.

Extra power spins from high-density carbo sponge.

Newly integrated dynamics and perfect hardness for reliable control. Hyper Elasto technology rubber upgraded by new chemical composition and new Carbo Sponge. Solid ball-capturing at the surface and perfectly matching sponge hardness promote extra spins and control at ball contact. OMEGA IV EUROPE produces significantly higher ball trajectory to make bigger window over the net. OMEGA IV EUROPE stretches the ball from opponent's court aggressively as if launched from speed-glued rubber. Clicking sensation at the ball contact also reflects the maximized built-in tension simulating full speed-glue effect.

    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • Excellent spin and control stability
    • Adequate speed despite not being fast
    • Particularly recommended for backhand use
    • Reliable defensive techniques like blocking
    • High performance at reasonable price
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveSpin and stability are the selling points of this rubber. Despite modest speed, it compensates with exceptional spin and control performance, making it recommended for intermediate to advanced players.
▽ CriticalSpeed is slower compared to similar models like Vega Euro. Weak shots tend to become flat. It requires solid, confident striking technique for optimal performance.

I'm using it on a 5-ply wood blade.
I usually use Vega Europe, but since the Omega series is a higher-end series, I decided to try it.

The amount of spin is about the same as Vega Europe, but the speed might be faster with Vega Europe or Vega Asia.
Also, when rallying, the returned balls tended to be shallow, and when I used it on my backhand, if I just hit the ball back, it often became a very flat shot.

The advantage of Omega 4 Euro over Vega Europe is that it's easier to block.
This is probably because the sheet is less sensitive and doesn't bounce as much, making blocking considerably easier.
The trajectory is straighter than with Vega, so there are fewer over-the-table shots.

This rubber is highly recommended for beginners who want to win by consistently getting the ball in.
The price is also cheap, just over 3000 yen, not much different from Vega Europe.

For intermediate and advanced players, Vega Euro still provides deeper and better returns, so if you're considering switching from Vega Euro of the same hardness, I think a different rubber would be better.
