NO.1 table tennis review site

Like the Sigma I Pro I reviewed before, I bought this on a discontinued-model sale.
Being a "Euro" version, the sponge is on the softer side, but the sheet is firm, so when you really sink the ball in you get decent speed and spin.
That said, the trajectory comes out high but doesn't seem to dip down at the end, so I often overshot when hitting a speed drive. I wish it had a bit more drive spin~
Probably because of that, blocks are hard to put your own spin on, so the return tends to float up a little, and stability isn't great.

That said, serves come out sharp with good spin, and the short game and attacking shots were very stable. Stops also come out low with good spin and are easy to return, and even when they float a bit the spin means the opponent can't lift the ball easily, so they seemed to miss a lot more.

The sponge is a bit on the firm side, but the sheet has good grip on the ball.
The sound off the racket is distinctive, and while the feel is a bit hard, you can really sense the sheet grabbing the ball, which makes it easy to control.
Because the sponge is firm, light touches don't bounce too much, so techniques like push and stop are easy to do, and when you really sink the ball in you get a lot of speed.
As tension rubbers go, the spin is on the decent side, and it's easy to put spin on serves and pretty much everything else.
Blocks come back at just the right pace without flying off too much, and counters are easy too.
Sinking the ball in gives you a powerful topspin drive, but since the sheet grips so well, grazing drives are also easy to hit.
It does pick up a fair amount of the opponent's spin, so flicks and smashes take some getting used to.
The distinctive feel and slightly firm sponge mean it doesn't feel much like the Tenergy series.
Omega V, on the other hand, feels closer to Tenergy.
Overall it feels like a well-balanced tension rubber, and as a Japanese penholder who does everything with a single rubber, I find it very easy to handle.
I'm sure it would suit shakehand players just as well.

Overall I'd say it's a bit harder than Vega Euro.
When you really sink the ball into the sponge, the rebound is strong so you get quite a bit of speed.
With topspin drives, there's a feeling of the ball flying upward, so it's easy to lift backspin balls too.
It seems to pick up spin from the opponent easily, so the short game over the table is difficult.

It bounces really well overall and gets a ton of spin.
The ball trajectory is quite flat, so it can be hard to handle unless that's the kind of feel you like.
Putting spin on your serves also takes a bit of a knack — the image is more like letting the ball sink into the sponge first.
Overall, it's the kind of rubber that makes you go, "Yeah, that's the stuff!"
