    Customer Reviews SummaryAI Summary
The rubber's greatest appeal is its exceptional cost-performance ratio, delivering performance that belies its 3,000 yen price point. The balance between a hard sheet and moderate sponge earns praise for speed, spin, and control, gaining support from intermediate to advanced players alike.
    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • Exceptional spin and performance at sub-4000 yen price
    • Hard sheet generates strong speed and power output
    • Counter attacks are exceptionally easy and stable
    • Unmatched value in this price category
    • Weight reaches nearly 50g, which is a drawback
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveAt 4000 yen, this rubber demonstrates serious commitment to quality. Both spin and speed are amazing, and control is extremely easy. This level of quality at this low price is incredible.
▽ CriticalThe weight is a significant drawback. Max thickness easily exceeds 50g, and using it on both sides causes timing issues for weaker players. Chipping becomes noticeable after 1-2 months, making it slippery.

      This thing is incredibly strong!
It's easy to put spin on, and smashing is easy too!
Counters are just plain easy to pull off!
Even if I swing carelessly, the counter still goes in!
The weak point is that at first my serves tend to drop short, but once you get used to it, it's not a problem.
The other weakness is that it's heavy — that's the biggest downside.

The sponge might feel hard to some people, but the topsheet is soft and the pips fold over easily, so overall I felt the rubber leans more toward the soft side.
Even with a light touch the topsheet puts spin on the ball, and with a stronger impact the sponge holds up, so it seemed to cover a wide range of impact levels.

      On a scale of 1 to 10:
      Speed: 8
Ease of putting on spin: 9
      Maximum spin: 7
      Ease of hitting flat: 8
Ease of hitting against backspin: 8
      Ease of looping: 7
      Counter power: 9
That's roughly how it felt to me (just my personal impression).

The feel is similar to Ventus Extra. But the performance is totally different. Ventus Extra has a soft topsheet and the sponge isn't that hard either, so if you hit hard the ball can drop short. Vega X doesn't have that problem. Actually, when hitting against backspin, a stronger impact makes the shot more stable. On the backhand, if you brush the ball and swing sideways, it goes in properly. It's a Vega, but even players used to higher-end rubbers probably won't feel it's lacking.

Different Love (Experience: 6〜10 years) Good value, good feel

      This is my first review!
      As for the feel:
      Feel 10
      Spin 10
      Speed 9
      Control 8
The topsheet is on the harder side and it flies fairly strong, but the topsheet grips the ball well, so both drives and smashes are easy to hit. The value for money is good too, so I'd recommend it to middle and high schoolers!

Spin, speed, control — compared to any other Vega, this one is easier to handle and easier to produce shots with!
Also, compared to other Vega rubbers, it lasts a bit longer.

I switched from Vega Pro, and the ball-holding feel got a little better.
Even with just a light graze the ball lifts up nicely on its own.

Natsutsu's Uncle (Experience: 11〜20 years) Quite the capable one

      Reviews by user

Since three versions of Vega 0 were about to be released, I figured I'd buy this one before that happened.

I'm using it on the forehand of my backup blade, the Wakyoku Ren.

The topsheet is pretty hard, but once you get the ball to sink in, you get a nice arc, and it flies deep on the table.
Both power and spin are plenty.
Not sure if it's because of the 2.0mm thickness, but it's not as heavy as I expected.

Since I normally use a lightly tacky rubber, I found Vega Pro Hybrid felt more stable, but for anyone who normally uses tension rubber (high schoolers and up), this performs well enough that I'd say it's fine for everyone.
