Let me say this up front: I think this long pips rubber can be called perfect.
I'm currently in 9th grade, playing at roughly a prefectural-tournament level. My club advisor, who knows nothing about pips rubbers, said things like "middle schoolers always want to jump straight to expensive German rubbers" and "you really like your obscure rubbers, huh," but for greedy players who use pips and want both spin and control, this is the rubber I'd recommend. I play as a chopper, and both chopping and attacking are rock solid on forehand and backhand alike. It's also easy to play close to the table with, and even when I mess up moving back, as long as I get the angle and contact point right, I can still stop a short drive. And across all these techniques, the spin is strong enough to make the ball drop right at the opponent's feet, plus control is good. If you're switching over from a chopper rubber like TSP's Curl series, the ball might fly a bit at first and go long, but you'll get used to it quickly, so I think you'll be fine.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

Stopping the ball, getting bite, and hitting through - all three come together at a really high level. I use it as a penhold pips player, and it's genuinely versatile, responding well to whatever technique I throw at it. By the way, if you use rubber cleaner every day, it gets tacky enough that the ball sticks to it for five or six seconds. When you stop the ball, it really stops, and you can attack almost like with a short pips rubber. Out of every pips rubber I've used, this is my top pick. Once you use it, you really can't go back to anything else.

I used the OX version.
Since it's hard, I struggled with control.
You can pull off attacking, blocking, and variation all at a high level, but I felt it demands real skill to handle it well.
For an entry-level choice, I'd recommend something else.

It performs exactly as the name suggests. Blocks stop the ball nicely, and attacking shots like pushes are easy to pull off too. And the chop-block short game shots get insane bite on them.

My first impression was that it stops the ball really well, and the feel is light.
You can't expect much spin generation of your own on chops, but it's stable, and if you use the opponent's own spin, you can get a lot of bite on it - that's the nature of long pips. Because of that there's a wide range of variation,
and opponents often get confused by their own spin coming back at them and end up missing.
The pips feel hard, which makes both attacking and receiving pretty easy, but pushes tend to float and don't get any bite at all. If you can work around that, it'll be a great partner for you. Lastly, this rubber has a lot of shine to it. Before matches, opponents often complain, "Did you put something on that?" (lol)All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard
