  Homoko (Experience: ４〜５ years) Good for beginners, but you'll feel it's lacking once you become intermediate

  

  A senior teammate of mine had been using this, so I got to try it out.
  He said he'd been using it for over a year, and sure enough, when I tried it, I couldn't get any spin on the ball at all, probably because it was worn slick.
  My senior often throws out tricky, unpredictable balls, so I wondered if it was because of this rubber.
  If it's fresh out of the pack, I imagine it's pretty good for beginners.
  The control was fairly good.
  I was honestly impressed that it still performed even after more than a year of use - kind of a scary-durable rubber, lol.
  I only ever use spin-oriented tension rubbers, so I couldn't really make the most of it.
  It's easily affected by the opponent's spin, so unless you play from a bit of distance it doesn't go in properly. A strange rubber (;´Д`)

  先輩が使用してたので使わせて頂きました。
  1年以上使っているといってたので使ってみるとやっぱツルツルなせいか回転が全然かかりませんでした。
  先輩はよく癖球をよく出してくるのでこのラバーのせいかな？と感じました。
  あけてばかりだったらかなり初心者にはいいのなのだろうと思いました。
  コントロールはわりとよかったです。
  1年以上たってもまだまだできるというわりと脅威のラバーだなと感じましたｗ
  私にはスピン系テンションしか使わないので、使いこなせませんでした。
  相手の回転の影響を受けやすいので。離れて打たないとまともに入らない感じです。不思議なラバーでした(;´Д｀)

  Loves table tennis (Experience: ２〜３ years) A bit lacking, but the control is outstanding

  

  The control is great and it's easy to put spin on the ball, so it's a rubber I can recommend to beginners. That said, it's a bit lacking since speed doesn't come out easily. Still, for a beginner's rubber, it's a really good one.

  コントロールが良く、スピンもかけやすい為、初心者の方にオススメできるラバーです。ただ､スピードがでにくいので少し物足りないです。しかし、初心者ラバーにしてはとてもいいラバーです。

  Taepodong (Experience: Less than a year) Not very usable

  

  This was the very first rubber I ever used
  Maybe it's just my lack of skill, but I couldn't get much spin on my topspin drives
  If it's your first rubber, I'd recommend Mark V instead

  1番最初のラバーをこれにしました
  技術不足なのかもしれませんがドライブのかかりが悪いです
  最初のラバーだったらマークVをおすすめします

  Miyanafu (Experience: ６〜１０ years) Rubber for beginners

  

  This was the first rubber I used back in the celluloid ball era. The sponge and topsheet were both soft, and I remember thinking, "so this is what a control rubber is like" while using it.
  Now that we've moved to plastic balls, honestly it feels like a rubber that doesn't have much use anymore.

  セルロイド時代の時に最初に使ったラバーでした。スポンジもシートも柔らかくコントロールラバーとはこんなものなのか、と思いながら使っていました。
  プラスチック球になった現在だと正直使い道がないラバーにも感じてしまいます。

  I think the medium thickness is the way to go
  Anyway, I'd recommend it to beginners

  Hinata (Experience: ４〜５ years) A masterpiece (not really)

  

  This isn't even a rubber that today's beginners use anymore. Even among control rubbers, I can't recommend it. Cheap rubbers like this don't bounce much, and there's no way to compete with modern table tennis using it. If anything, it's there to help you learn how to handle the short game. Once you can hit at a certain level, it starts to feel quite lacking, so you're better off switching to something like Mark V, which is a step up.

  最近の初心者でも使わないラバー。コントロールラバーの中でもオススメできない。こういった安価なラバーは弾まないし、現代卓球に立ち向かうのは無理。せめて言うならば台上処理の方法を学ぶためにある。ある程度打てるようになるとかなり物足りなくなるから、上位互換のマークVなどに替えて使ったほうがいい。
