- The new Anti-Spin generation for plastic and ABS balls
-
Just like BUFFALO+ this new Anti-Spin rubber BISON+ is an improvement of our well-known rubber BISON.
BISON+ still comes with a softer touch and thus a bit more control.
It will literally "kill" the speed of the oncoming ball while blocking thanks to the absorption power of its dampening sponge, even when used on fast and stiff offensive blades. Also BISON+ will help you to perform pushing and lifting (especially on chopped balls) as well as slow counter-attacking against float balls.
Our Anti-Spin rubbers BUFFALO+, BISON+ and RHINO+ are renowned to be highly effective when used with celluloid and plastic balls. However they are probably the only rubbers currently on the market that also produce good spin reversal and a low bounce with the new ABS balls.
All in all BISON+ is easy to handle and provides both great control and maximum spin reversal even on fast blades.

Bison is a rubber that makes anti-spin play at close-to-the-table blocking incredibly effective.
The way it reverses the spin on even the most vicious topspin drives brings to mind the Super Block, a rubber banned precisely because it was too effective.
With a surface that has essentially zero friction, Bison lets you return the ball low and short to your opponent's court. It doesn't care what blade you pair it with — it just kills the ball. Handling fast drives is easy too.

Gender (Experience: More than 20 years) A slightly softer version of the Buffalo

This is like a slightly softer version of the Buffalo, another anti-spin rubber from the same maker, Dr. Neubauer.
The surface is just as slick, with zero friction.
While the Buffalo feels like hitting a hard board, this one has just a tiny bit of give, so that little bit of sinking-in lets you make fine adjustments the moment you hit the ball, making it easier to control, and the rebound force after sinking in gives it a bit more speed.
That said, that same bit of give also means you're more affected by the power and spin of the opponent's shot, so which one is better probably comes down to preference - personally, I prefer the Bison for the slight adjustability.
That said, the give is only slight compared to the Buffalo - compared to Japanese-made anti-spin rubbers, there's no give at all, and it still feels like hitting a board. All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard
