      When it comes to short pips rubbers, I think Spectol is the best,
      but this is the short pips rubber I personally like
      it's a short pips rubber from DHS, a brand I love
      these days when people say short pips they usually mean tension-type ones like Booster SA,
      but with tension-type short pips I feel like I get affected by the opponent's spin too easily,
      making flicks and blocks harder to do
      but with a non-tension rubber like Spectol,
      I think flicks are easier to pull off
      this rubber in particular feels especially easy to flick with
      Ai-chan used to use it too
      and Ishigaki, famous for short-pips chopping, uses it as well
      it's that kind of all-around rubber, so if you're interested please

      Choppuman (Experience: ４〜５ years) A chopper's perspective

      It cuts really well.

      It's not affected much by incoming spin, and when I chopped while sliding the ball, it came out really sharp.

      I actually used it in a match, and when I kept the chop low and firm, my opponent kept dropping the ball into the net.

      It's also easy to add variation to your shots,

      so I'd recommend it to beginner choppers using short pips, or to anyone who wants to actively mix up their variations.
