My junior used this as a beginner rubber. The performance is so low that "it's only good for the price" totally makes sense. Retra or Jammin are way better. Can't really recommend it...

I started table tennis this year and this was the very first rubber I used, but once I tried other rubbers I realized just how bad this one's performance actually is — the difference was huge.

Using the thick version.
This is a really good rubber for beginners learning the absolute basics — the fundamentals of stance and stroke.
For someone starting around the middle years of elementary school,
it seems like a decent fit.

I bought this specifically to fix my form — a rubber that has no power unless you hit it hard, and no spin unless you brush it correctly.
Rubbers that generate spin with just a small wrist flick, or that give decent speed even without much effort, are great and I use those normally too, but I deliberately bought this low-response rubber for practice, to go back to how I moved as an elementary schooler when I first started table tennis — really using my whole body and hitting each ball carefully. It's more tiring than usual every time I practice, but I feel like it's helping me become more conscious of each individual shot, so that when I use a high-performance rubber, I can return the ball with real intent.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Soft

Flick: ☆ ☆I think it's good as a starter rubber. That said, from your second rubber onward, I think you'll improve more by choosing something like ZALT instead of just looking at the price. The speed isn't high, so of course it's easy to control. You can technically do a full range of techniques with it. It feels a bit lacking, but... it's also good for when your feel has gone off and you want to reset a little. It's a rubber that makes you appreciate what tension technology actually does for you.

Warning: harsh review ahead
First of all, it's cheap so it's easy to pick up.
But it doesn't generate any spin. Like I said, it's a beginner rubber, meant for learning the basics.
But no matter how good your form is or how much power you put into it, this rubber just won't spin.
Learning proper form is important for building the basics, but this rubber actually makes your form worse.
The bounce is very weak. Since it doesn't fly, some of that might be on my own arm, but I couldn't play from mid-distance or away from the table.
I thought the low bounce would make the short game easier, but the sheet is slippery, so your pushes and stops float up and turn into easy balls for your opponent.
I personally don't like the feel either.
Soft rubbers usually make a high-pitched sound and feel great to hit.
But this rubber doesn't make that sound at all — it's a weird, mushy feel that's honestly kind of gross.
Also, it wears out really fast.
If I had to say something positive, it's easy to control.
In conclusion, it's cheap, but if you're going to use this rubber, I'd recommend spending a bit more on something else instead.
This is just my personal opinion, so please also check other people's reviews, not just mine.
