Afternoon pavilion milk (Experience: 11〜20 years) Versatile tension long pips rubber

      Reviews by user

Currently using this as an OX rubber.
Speed-wise, it's fast for a one-ply long pips rubber. It bounces more than non-tension options like the TSP Curl series, but since the tension effect is weak, it doesn't bounce as much as Rasant Chaos or Glaze Dtecs.
As for spin, the CWX has thin pips set at a narrow spacing, so it varies the ball a bit even just on contact, but since the pips have some stiffness, likely because it's rated for plastic balls, it's also easy to add your own variation.
Control is excellent, and I think that's the CWX's biggest appeal. Even though it's a tension pips rubber, it bounces less than other tension pips, so more of my shots land on the table.
It's also maneuverable, and easy to attack the topspin with topspin drives or flat hits.
It's easiest to think of as Glaze Dtecs with the bounce toned down and the variation made milder.
When using this rubber, I think an all-round blade or an attacking blade with slightly reduced bounce would be the best match.
Also note that you'll need to buy adhesive sheets when gluing this rubber on.
Overall, it's an excellent rubber with no technique that's hard to pull off. I hope it doesn't get discontinued.

      I tried this from a chopper's perspective.
Chop: Spin amount is quite high. Tends to result in shallow balls.
Push: Low and spinny. The feel is kind of like CURL P4.
Topspin drive: Not the easiest to use.
      Block: Easy to stop.
Overall rating: 8 out of 10
