STIGA Vertical are our latest long pimple rubbers, developed in close collaboration with former Japanese National Team player Masato Shino. The pimple structure for Vertical 20 and Vertical 55 is placed in a vertical angle providing extra control and stability in your defensive strokes. These rubbers are made in Japan and developed specially for the ABS-ball to increase the spin of the modern defensive game.

seaweed (Experience:11〜20 years) Grain height cutting is now possible

      Reviews by user

I have been using Spectrum, Spin Pips, Best Anti, etc., and occasionally tried to use high-grained rubbers (P4, P1V, Feint Long), but I couldn't control the cut and gave up.

I mainly use the surface and swing hard from above, so I think the reason is that I can't swing like I'm rubbing the bottom every time with high-grained rubber.

However, with this rubber, I can cut stably without making much adjustment to my usual swing.

The sharpness and change are not as much as the high-grained rubber mentioned above, but this is the first time I've been able to use a high-grained rubber without feeling uncomfortable.

This is probably because it is less affected by the rotation with the vertical grain, and because the sponge is hard, it feels like you are hitting with the surface of the racket.
In addition, the bounce is suppressed, so even if you swing hard to a certain extent, it doesn't go over.

Since I can use this rubber, which I can't use normal high-grained rubbers, I personally would like it to be used by front-end users who are aiming to improve their defensive stability rather than high-grained users.
