This feels totally different from the Orthodox Deluxe. I used to think all the variation-type OX short pips were basically just long pips that don't do much, but this rubber puts out a really unique ball! If you come up against someone using this rubber for the first time, I bet you'll really struggle with the variation. It's not a fast, curving ball like the Grass, and it's not the kind of slow, sharply-breaking variation you get from the Desperado either. It's really one of a kind, so if you're curious, definitely give it a try!
