On my forehand, I'd always been looking for a hard, high-spin tension rubber that was easy to control for speed and trajectory, with just enough bounce and no more. I could never find a rubber that fit this exactly, and I'd been using Dignics 05 for close to two years now, but after trying this one, I felt like I wanted to drop Dignics and just keep using this rubber from now on. Every performance point I listed above is spot on. I think this is built to a really high-end standard, even among manual (non-spring-sponge) rubbers. And this is very much a personal impression, but I actually felt like this generates more spin than Dignics 05. With Dignics I felt like I was winning points through raw ball power, but with this rubber I definitely felt like I was winning points through spin instead, more so than with Dignics. The feeling of really gripping the ball hard on loops and serves is genuinely wonderful. I've posted a more detailed review on Twitter under the same username.

I used this on my forehand. The shots fly in a straight line and spin quite a lot. Compared to Rasanter R48, I'd give the speed an 8 out of 10. Because of that, the ball lands on the table nicely, so I really like it.
The sponge is hard, so I think it pairs well with pure wood or fiber blades. Combined with a 7-ply wood blade, it has a nice sinking feel and bounces well, so I recommend that pairing.

Compared to Dignics 05, Jikihai feels just barely harder? Or maybe about the same hardness. That said, the ball leaves Dig 05 a bit faster, so with Dig 05 you get the impression you need to keep your impact strong at all times or you won't get a good shot. Jikihai has better ball-holding and a better sense of the sheet gripping the ball than Dig 05, so even with somewhat weaker impact, it still arcs the ball in more than Dig 05, even if a bit shallow. That said, like Dig 05 it's a hard rubber, so it's still difficult with weak impact — that doesn't change. What I found especially difficult was hitting against backspin. This too was better than Dig 05, but hitting against backspin still needs more power. It felt almost like doing strength training just for that one shot. I think the reason is that, compared to a high-end rubber like Tenergy or Dignics, its speed performance is a bit more modest. If I could always play table tennis with 60-100% impact, I think this would genuinely be the best rubber, but that wasn't realistic for me.
