Several top players prefer the pure wooden blade construction, appreciating the special feel of pure wood.

EXTRA SPECIAL is a 7-ply construction suitable for aggressive close-to-the-table players. In EXTRA SPECIAL Yasaka’s experienced wood specialists combine harder inner veneers with a slightly softer middle veneer to get the right power without vibration.

Black Storm Seven plywood with offensive power

      Player reviews

Feeling shot feeling with a core.
The top board is stiff and very easy to play.
I think that it is suitable for those who are sticking to wood rackets and are still asking for offensive power.
As the ball separates faster, let's be aware of the swing speed in order to spin.
Since it is heavy, we need to think about the weight of the rubber to paste.
I think that it is very good performance for price.

It's a very good racket. No matter what kind of rubber you use, it will grip firmly, so you can swing it properly. I'm currently using Jekyll Hyde on both sides, but I can't get enough of the stability of the ball. Rubbers that are subject to rotation, such as European rubber and adhesive rubber, are particularly compatible.
The downside is that it's heavy, but it's made of 7 plywood, so be prepared for that.
      Let's do muscle training (lol)

      Player reviews

Thanks to the durability of the 7 blades and the hardness of the surface plate, the balance of ball separation is exquisite.
Not only loops, but also speed drives can be hit without difficulty. However, since the inner plate is a little soft, you need a considerable amount of power to get the most out of it.
(It's heavy). Anything from tension to adhesion is compatible with rubber.
I don't choose rubber, but I think it's a racket that chooses people.

Rakuza X is compatible with this racket (good energy efficiency).
You can set up a drive attack regardless of the play area.
There is a heavy feeling, but there is no problem when swinging with a full swing.
It is recommended for middle-advanced players who want to skip the table and bring it to a long rally and shake it.

I bought 97g, which is heavy. (Official weight is 95±g)
Both F side G-1/B side MXP are used with extra thickness. Leisurely over 200g.
When I first started using it, I had the impression that it was difficult to serve because the center of gravity was close to my hand, but once I got used to it, I could perform various types of service, such as fast longs and longs with a lot of rotation.
Because it plays well, it flies even if you don't shake it so much. If you shake it all the way, a nasty drive will fly.
      Speed and spin are perfect.
I'm currently looking for a rubber to put on the B side, but so far Rakza 7 or Rakza 7soft is the best.
The F side was fixed with G-1 because it flew too much with MXP.
A very good racket with a good taste of wood. Recommended not only for those who want to hit hard drive, but also for those who want to use a heavy racket.

      Player reviews

The first impression I made was heavy. It rotates well and speeds up, but it is heavy. I don't think I can master it without some strength.
Also, I may be not good at this, but it took time to get the bench processing done. However, once you get used to it, it's a very good racket, so I'll continue to use it. I think it suits aggressive players such as drivemen and front-end haste.
