Powered by Spring Sponge Technology and with pimples of a larger diameter than other rubbers, Tenergy 25 creates dynamic attacks for close-to-the-table play.
Spring Sponge Technology is produced by the unique format of air bubbles within the sponge and the thin pimples of the highly flexible surface, enable dynamic topspin play with heavy rotation.
Adept at drop-shots, flicks, short pushes and quick counter attacks, Tenergy 25 is perfect for close-to-the table play.
Within the Tenergy Family of rubbers, all styles of play can benefit from this new technology
- Pimples in
- Exceptional counter-attacks and short-range techniques
- Firm sheet resists opponent's spin effectively
- Excellent ball grip for serves and receives
- Insufficient bounce for back-court drives
- Specialized rubber preferred by advanced players

Countering, blocking, smashing — all really easy, and you can put a ton of spin on your serves too. The best rubber.

• What really stands out is how easy it makes countering. The stability is good enough that you could aim to be a counter-punisher with it. On top of that, pushes are easy too, so it's very easy to bait your opponent into attacking.
• The feel is the hardest among the Tenergy series. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone currently chopping with a tacky rubber who feels their bounce is lacking. After all, you can play stable defense whether close to the table or far back.
• As I mentioned, it's a bit hard, so it seems better suited to the forehand, but I can use it on either side. (I just like hard rubbers.)All Speed Spin Control

Among the Tenergy line, this one really stands out for how easy it makes the short game, like pushes.
Because the sheet's pips are thick, smashes and blocks are more stable.
That said, it's harder to drive the ball with power once you move away from the table, which puts you at a disadvantage in topspin rallies.I think this rubber suits close-to-the-table fast-attack players well.

Minegishi A rubber for those who can't master the 05

Used it mounted on a STIGA Infinity blade, penhold pips style.
First thing I want to say is that "even when you catch the ball on the sheet, it doesn't drop off."
If you use 05, you'll know that with 05 you need to sink the ball into the sponge a bit for the drive to be stable.
But with 25, the sheet's pips are thicker, so you can carry the drive through even hitting it on the sheet alone.
In terms of ball weight, it would go: 05 sunk in > 25 sunk in > 25 off the sheet > 05 off the sheet.Next, blocking. The rubber itself is hard, so it's easy to block with.
Blocking is easiest with a rubber that's either hard or extremely soft.
25 falls into the former category.Next, serving.
Honestly, I felt German-made rubbers are easier to put spin on.Finally, there's one thing about 25 I really can't compromise on — the short game.
Because the rubber itself is hard, flicks aren't affected much by incoming spin, and you get the feeling you can bring backspin into the impact.
On top of that, stops bit really well.If you ask me what kind of rubber 25 is, I'd say:
"It has its quirks — not a rubber I'd recommend to 05 users."
Of course, that's meant both in a good and a bad sense. Thanks for reading all the way through.

The sheet is soft while the sponge feels a bit firm — that's the kind of rubber this is. If you sink the ball into it for a drive, you get a decent amount of spin and speed.

Switched over from Hurricane. Since I mainly play close to the table, I was looking for a rubber that makes smashing, blocking, and countering easy.
It doesn't grip the ball as much as Hurricane, but overall I like it better than Hurricane. All Speed Spin Control
