Used with a penhold grip (no backhand)

Feel: It's hard, but that's only in comparison to a normal rubber; it's relatively "hard."
It doesn't feel particularly hard on its own.
Even with hard hits, it doesn't compress too much and holds the ball well, making it easy to control.
For light hits and defensive techniques, the hardness contributes to the ball's control.
The top sheet has a vertical weave, but the pips are dense, yet it has the ball release characteristic of a penhold rubber.
Speed: It's not exceptionally fast, but the elasticity of the sponge, not the sheet, is noteworthy. When you swing it with the feeling of launching the ball, it flies well.
Spin: It generates a surprising amount of spin for a vertically oriented rubber (though loop shots are admittedly difficult).
Knuckleball: It can be produced if you consciously try, but it doesn't seem to come out automatically very easily.
Arm/Trajectory: It's relatively high for a short pimple rubber, but perhaps because the sheet has a moderate hardness, when you push or short, you get aggressive shots that are low or deep.
Overall: Suitable for forehand short pimples, with a good balance of vertical and horizontal orientation.
For backhand short pimples, where you want to attack by taking advantage of the difference in ball quality compared to inverted rubber, it's an option if you're looking for stability, but it might be a little lacking?
