Highly rated as a great value-for-money rubber for beginners to intermediate players. The soft sheet and sponge make it easy to use, particularly suitable for backspin strokes and drive practice, though some note inferior spin performance and shorter lifespan compared to harder rubbers.
    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • Excellent cost-performance for beginners to intermediates
    • Soft sheet makes backspin strokes effortless
    • Reliable for drives and rally stability
    • Good sheet quality but relatively short lifespan
    • Spin performance inferior to high-hardness rubbers
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveDespite its softness, the ball doesn't drop on strong hits. From beginner with 2.0mm both sides to intermediate play, this rubber has sufficient performance for reliable progression.
▽ CriticalThe sheet becomes worn after just one month. Spin performance is inferior to Tenergy, and high school level players may not be satisfied.

      Maxima (Experience:More than 20 years) Cost-effective ghost

      Reviews by user

Although it is soft, the ball does not drop even with strong hits.
I felt that the overall performance was somewhere between Vega Europe and Ligan. However, compared to these two, the list price is the same or lower, and the ball does not drop, so it is more than enough for intermediate players.
It is safe to say that if you start as a beginner and level up your racket by fixing it at 2.0mm on both sides, you can't go wrong.
When I tried it, it was on the light side at 43g at maximum.

    • (Experience:6〜10 years) A new option for beginners

      Reviews by user

      I used the MAX45.3G.

This rubber is very easy to handle with its extremely soft sheet and sponge.

It's inexpensive considering its performance, and it's been a while since I've found a rubber I can recommend right from the start.

I usually use rubbers around 50°, so it naturally pales in comparison, but the sheet is surprisingly well-made.

I was particularly impressed by how the ball doesn't drop easily with topspin. It seems better to hit with the sheet rather than just tapping the ball.

Personally, I recommend this one over Rozena because I prefer the sheet.

Batrachus cat (Experience:6〜10 years) Tenergy 05 replacement

      Reviews by user

If we consider Tenergy 05 as an all-around 8:

When returning topspin or when swung by a national-level power hitter, Tenergy had slightly better spin than Swat Spin. (As a rescue worker, I believe my physical abilities are reliable.)

For normal balls, there isn't much difference, and it's very usable.

It feels slightly harder than Rozena? But that allows it to handle powerful shots better.

After about two months of use, it seems like its lifespan deteriorates quickly.

It doesn't seem like it will develop the same worn-out feel as Tenergy.

Considering cost-performance, this is overwhelmingly the better choice.

Gengar (Experience:6〜10 years) A good rubber for beginners/intermediate players.

      Reviews by user

Harimoto Inner ALC with MAX stringing, 46g
As it's for beginners, it doesn't have much power and the sheet isn't very strong.
Also, it felt harder than the sponge hardness indicated.
Hitting backspin is a bit difficult.
The ball flies in the direction of the swing, so if you ignore the spin and just match the racket face, it will go in.
It also generates spin, so considering the price, it's a rubber I can recommend to people who are just starting to learn how to use drives.

      3333 (Experience:2〜3 years) Comfortable rubber

      Reviews by user

A third-year junior high school girl has these on both sides of a walnut wood racket. When paired with a hard five-ply racket, it really feels great for smashing. The metallic sound and the feeling of the rubber digging into the racket are addictive. The soft rubber also makes it easy to hit with underspin. I recommend these for players who want to play aggressive table tennis on the third and fifth balls. Regarding longevity, the feel of the ball remains the same, but the sheet starts to look a bit worn after a month.

spin letter (Experience:2〜3 years) Recommended for intermediate level skiers

      Reviews by user

Recommended for intermediate players who want to start adding spin.
If you max it out with the second rubber, it will fly too far, so I felt that a thicker second rubber would be enough.

seaweed (Experience:More than 20 years) Recommended for junior high school students

      Reviews by user

I usually use the V20 Double Extra.

It's soft and has decent pop-up.

The blocks make a nice sound and feel good.

However, I found myself dropping the ball in a back-to-back move for some reason. The pop-up angle is low, so I think it takes some getting used to.

If a junior high school student is using a tension rubber for the first time, I think this rubber or Vega Europe would be good. If using a sheet rubber, this rubber would be good.

High school students and older may not be satisfied.
