  There's nothing this rubber can't handle in either offensive or defensive techniques, but chops were a bit tricky. Still, once you get used to it, you can put real bite on your chops, so I'd recommend it for intermediate to advanced choppers. The topspin drive really did feel, just like advertised, like it accelerated after bouncing on the opponent's side of the table, and when I blocked a hard hit, it turned into a counter-block that went right back onto the opponent's side. Lobs and fish shots were both easy to pull off too. It's fast enough that smashes go past the opponent untouched and blocks become counter-blocks, the spin is heavy enough that a full swing drive makes the opponent overshoot and a chop using the wrist causes even advanced players to net it -- a rubber that truly lives up to the name "monster rubber." I personally haven't used Tenergy, so I can't compare it to that.

  攻撃技術、守備技術においてできないものはありませんがカットに関しては難がありました。ですがなれればかなり切れたカットが入るので中級・上級カットマンにはお勧めです、ドライブは宣伝通り相手コートにバウンドしてから加速していくイメージがありましたし、相手の強打をブロックした際カウンターブロックになって相手コートに戻っていきました。ロビングもフィッシュもやりやすかったです。スマッシュは相手をノータッチで抜く、ブロックがカウンターブロックになるという速さ、振り切ったドライブを打てば相手はオーバーミス、手首を使ったカットを打てば上級者でもネットミスという思い回転、モンスターラバーという名に恥じない一枚でした。私自身テナジーを使ったことがないのでテナジーとは比べておりません。

  VS＞401

  

  I switched from VICTAS's V>01 to VS>401, and the stability on my chops is amazing!!
  I use 2.0mm sponge with the Koji Matsushita Offensive, and I basically never get overshoot misses.
  Chopping smashes, which was tough with V>01, has gotten a lot easier. It's almost like the rubber absorbs the power of the ball.
  Since I'd been using V>01, the speed and spin felt a bit lacking at first, but the control on chops more than made up for it. The speed, spin, and sharpness of chops when attacking are a step below V>01, but I don't think the speed and spin of VS>401 itself are lacking.
  If you put your full strength into a smash, the speed is quite impressive, and if you put a lot of spin on, your opponent will even net the ball. But what this rubber is really about, above all, is control. Even chopping from an awkward position, the cut ball stays low and lands in the opponent's court; for lobs, you can easily do the sidespin lobs that European players use, and counterattacks from far behind the table land reliably too.
  This isn't an attacking rubber or a defensive rubber — it's a chopper's rubber built for the all-around style Koji Matsushita envisioned.

  VICTASのV>01からVS>401へ変えたのですが、カットの安定がすごい！！
  自分は松下浩二オフェンシブに２．０のスポンジを使ってますが、全然オーバーミスをしません。
  V>01では難があったスマッシュをカットするのがかなり楽になりました。まるでラバーが球の威力を吸収したかのように。
  スピードと回転はV>01を使っていたこともあり、少し物足りないということがありましたが、カットのコントロールが補ってくれました。攻撃時のスピード、回転、カットの切れ味はV>01よりは劣りますが、VS>401のスピード、回転自体物足りないとは思いません。
  スピードはスマッシュを力いっぱいで打てばなかなかの早さですし、回転だって強くかければ相手だってネットミスをしてくれます。でも何と言ってもこのラバーの売りはコントロールです。カットした際無理な体勢で打っても切れたカットが低く相手コートに入り、ロビングの際ヨーロッパ選手のやる横回転ロビングも簡単にでき、あと後陣からの反撃も確実に入ります。
  攻撃ラバー、守備ラバーならぬ松下浩二さんが望んだオールラウンドプレーを目指すカットマン用ラバーです。
